Mortgage Discounts for Teachers!!

New Home Loans for Teachers Program

Teachers have been up against it in recent years.  Tight budgets and cutbacks in local government have made it harder than ever for schoolteachers to make ends meet.  With that in mind, PrimeLending in Charlottesville has established a mortgage program exclusively for teachers that can help shave up to $1,000 off the final closing costs of a mortgage loan.  The idea was conceived by Dan MacDougall, the Area Production Manager for PrimeLending, a PlainsCapital Company.

We all have soft spots for teachers.  My grandmother is a retired teacher, and I have two aunts that are currently teaching.  Dan's mother is a retired school teacher.  We all think of this program as a way to give back to our teachers - they deserve it.

To achieve the savings, PrimeLending, the Virginia Real Estate Solutions Team, local Attorneys and Closure Title are all reducing some of their costs so teachers can save money at the closing table, perhaps even enough to squeeze through a tight deal.

"We have designated Realtors® [The Virginia Real Estate Solutions Team], Attorneys and a Title company [Closure Title] involved.  The program works for both purchases and refinances." Dan stated.

Already, the program is drawing compliments:
"I have never had such a smooth transaction with any home financing, even from my own bank," said Rick Pirkey.  "I would strongly recommend Mr. MacDougall to any person that is looking to refinance their home."  Rick is currently the Director of Business & Finance for the Greensville County Schools.

The benefits for teachers - and all school employees - include up to $1,000 off Closing Costs, an easy application process, free pre-qualification, and its good for new construction loans, renovation loans, and a wide range of products that PrimeLending offers.

"This is an incredible time to buy a home, depending on the individual situation," Dan confirmed.  "The price of homes is attractive and interest rates are at historic lows."

  1. Discount offers possibly may help you to lower monthly mortgage bills. Reduced mortgage offers aim to minimize the monthly mortgage expenses for a identified period thus assisting clients with their regular budget.
